Bill Clinton rescues Journalists from the Axis of Evil

When I found out Bill Clinton was going to North Korea to save the Journalists, I was in the living room with my Mom explaining the entire story to her...

I don't remember much about the Clinton years. But in the end I remember he was a good man. As a kid I thought a good president was one who got reelected. Exemplified by what didn't happen to Georgie HW Bush.

It makes sense that he went but had Al Gore not been involved, I probably would have disliked that they (The Government) sent him....the husband of the Secretary of State. I understand that she can't go because we don't negotiate with terrorists, but we should fix that problem first. I understand this can't happen now but its just something that bothers me.

I guess what is bothering me now, after knowing all the facts and that I know he is a "Private Citizen", is that the Obama administration will be tapping him for information about Kim Jong Il's health status and nuclear intentions. Who knows what else Bill discussed with North Korea.

As the main story is the return of these Americans, I hope in the days to come we learn more about the meeting and lead to a better situation with North Korea.

For today, lets celebrate a homecoming.
