In Hinduism, there is a ceremony when we are little babies where you put certain items on a plate and whichever item (money, pen, book, gold, etc.) the baby touched or picked up, that would define them. Its a shame no one put a DVD or CD on that plate. For the record, I don't remember what I picked up.
I can't imagine a person who hasn't experienced all three of them. For me, Movies and Music played a big role for me. I never really got into reading because I was too busy reading for school. But now that I am out, I need to read more. And since I always have something to say, I have to say something about Media. For the time being, enjoy my first favorites:
First Favorite Book: "I'm going to run away" by Joan Hanson I think. no luck on google. Simple book about a fat chubby kid who wants to run away and packs up all his stuff including his family, pets, friends and house....yup, eventually decided it wasn't worth it. I think I was 6. I never had thoughts of running away so I must have only connected to him because he was chubby.
First Favorite Movies: Back to the Future, no explanation needed.
First Favorite Music: Michael Jackson. But first CD that I bought on my own was Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle. I actually bought it twice because the first case broke. Even before CD's I went through a few walkman's and would always record on Tape Cassettes the top 8 at 8. Wow, i'm getting memories of 96.3 and WJLB Detroit radio stations.
